We are a small hobby farm located in Missouri, dedicated to the preservation, development, health, temperament, and socialization of our rabbits. All of our bunnies live inside our home where multiple family members interact with and handle them daily. Baby bunnies begin an intentional socialization process from the day that they are born in order to promote calm, gentle, well-adjusted temperaments. We are proud members of NATWRC.
Rabbit Age Requirements
Reservations: May begin once the rabbits reach 6 weeks of age
Local Pickup: Rabbits may leave for local pickup at 8 weeks of age.
Transport: Rabbits traveling by transport must be at least 12 weeks old and of adequate weight and condition for travel. Pickup and transport dates will be coordinated prior to departure.
Closed Rabbitry Policy
We are a closed rabbitry and do not allow visitors into our rabbitry. This policy helps protect the health of our animals and the privacy and safety of our family. We are happy to provide photos, videos, and updates throughout the reservation process and welcome any questions you may have.
Reservations & Deposits
Rabbits Available Now: Rabbits that are ready to leave immediately require payment in full to reserve. Available rabbits remain available until a payment or deposit clears.
Kits Under 8 Weeks of Age: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to reserve a rabbit. The remaining balance is due when the rabbit is being picked up. Deposits and payments are non-refundable unless the rabbit becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or death while in our care.
Pricing
Prices vary, $200-$600, based on quality, pedigree, age, color, markings, wool quality, and breeding potential. Prices are subject to change without notice until a deposit has been received.
Pet Quality Rabbits: Pet-quality rabbits are sold strictly as companion animals without a pedigree.Pedigree Rabbits: Rabbits sold with pedigrees are evaluated based on their current development and lineage. However, we do not guarantee future fertility, breeding performance, litter size, reproductive success, show quality, or breeding outcomes.
Pick Up & Transport
Buyers are responsible for arranging transportation. We are happy to recommend trusted transporters when available.
Local Pick Up Policy
Please arrive on time for your scheduled pickup. We will wait 30 minutes past the agreed-upon pickup time. After 30 minutes, we will leave the meeting location. Failure to arrive within the 30-minute grace period will result in forfeiture of the rabbit and all money paid. Thank you for respecting our time and family commitments.
Transport Policy
Once a rabbit has been released to a transporter, Show-Me Teddywidders Rabbitry is not responsible for delays, illness, injury, death, accidents, route changes, or any circumstances that occur during transport. Buyers are responsible for communicating directly with their chosen transporter and understanding the transporter's policies.
Boarding Policy
Local Pickup: Rabbits must be picked up within 7 days of becoming available unless prior arrangements have been made. After 7 days, a boarding fee of $25 per rabbit, per week will apply.
Transport: One month of complimentary boarding is included after a deposit is received. After 30 days, a boarding fee of $25 per rabbit, per week will apply. While we understand that transport schedules can occasionally change due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, any delays extending beyond the complimentary 30-day boarding period remain the buyer's responsibility. If a transport route is postponed, canceled, delayed, or otherwise unavailable, boarding fees will continue to accrue at $25 per rabbit, per week. Any outstanding boarding fees must be paid in full before a rabbit is released for pickup or transport. We love and care deeply for our rabbits, and extended stays require additional feed, housing, grooming, and daily care.

Health Is A Priority
All rabbits leave our rabbitry healthy to the best of our knowledge. Once a rabbit leaves our care, Show-Me Teddywidders Rabbitry is not responsible for illness, injury, death, veterinary expenses, or conditions resulting from stress, transport, diet changes, housing, grooming, or environmental factors. In the event a reserved rabbit becomes ill, injured, or passes away while in our care prior to pickup or transport, the buyer may receive a refund or transfer their payment to another available rabbit.
Transition Supplies
Each bunny purchased from us will be sent home with a 1-gallon bag of food, 1-gallon bag of Hay, and a goodie bag.
Breed Notice
American Teddywidders are a developing breed. While we carefully evaluate each rabbit, we cannot guarantee future ear placement, wool texture, wool density, modifiers, size, show potential, or breeding potential. These traits may continue to develop and change as the rabbit matures.
Sexing Policy
We make every effort to accurately determine the sex of our rabbits. However, young rabbits can be difficult to sex with 100% certainty. The buyer accepts this risk when purchasing a young rabbit. No refunds, exchanges, or compensation will be provided due to an incorrect sex determination.
Rehoming Policy
If you can no longer keep a rabbit purchased from us, please contact us. We never want our rabbits surrendered to shelters or released in the wild. We will gladly assist with rehoming or accept the rabbit back when possible. No refunds will be issued for returned rabbits. Returned rabbits become the property of Show-Me Teddywidders Rabbitry.
All Sales Are Final
All sales are final. Buyers are encouraged to examine their rabbit at pickup. Acceptance of the rabbit at pickup confirms the buyer is satisfied with the rabbit's condition at the time of transfer. Show-Me Teddywidders Rabbitry reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale at our discretion if we believe doing so is in the best interest of the rabbit, our breeding program, or our family. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits will be given unless specifically stated in writing by Show-Me Teddywidders Rabbitry.
Buyer Age Requirements
We do not sell rabbits to minors. A parent or legal guardian must complete all transactions.
By placing a deposit or purchasing a rabbit, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies contained in this document.
